Young Adults Center Project (YC)

A developing initiative to create a community space where young adults can connect, grow, and lead.

"This community center will provide a safe, welcoming space for university students and local youth to gather, build relationships, explore creativity, and receive support for personal and spiritual growth."

The Young Adults Center Project (YC) is an emerging initiative designed to serve young adults who are not currently reached by KLDP or ILP.

YC aims to become a hub where young adults discover their potential, develop leadership skills, and form meaningful connections that strengthen both their lives and their communities.

KLDF has developed young leaders through the KLDP program for university students. Yet many other young adults outside the university system also seek guidance, growth, and leadership opportunities.

These include:

Youth living in dormitories
Youth in local churches
Students at Rajabhat University, Saluang District
Young adults not connected to KLDP or ILP

The Young Adults Center Project (YC) expands KLDF’s reach by creating an inclusive space where all young people can grow in leadership, spiritual formation, vocational skills, and personal development.

Purpose of the Young Adults Center

The YC exists to:

Provide a consistent gathering place for young adults
Build a supportive community that encourages connection and creativity
Offer leadership development and spiritual formation
Equip youth with practical skills for life and future careers
Empower young adults to become servant leaders who influence their communities

Target Group

Karen youth
Youth living at Rajabhat University, Saluang District
Young adults in churches, dormitories, and nearby communities
Youth not currently reached by KLDP or ILP

Outcomes

Youth become servant leaders with strong character and purpose
Youth grow spiritually and live as disciples of Jesus Christ
Youth gain leadership capacity and essential life skills
Youth develop vocational abilities and a clear sense of personal vision
Youth are empowered to impact their communities and society
